Came here for dinner and really enjoyed the entire dining experience! Service was outstanding. From the cashier to the counter attendant to the cleaner, absolutely every single employee there was so happy, friendly, charismatic, and knew how to engage with customers. Whatever their management is doing, they’re doing it right! We picked option 2 for a shared dinner and they gave us an extra plate which was great. We got to pick two mains (sweet Chili salmon and the Apple chutney pork loin) and three sides (roasted potatoes, garlic broccoli and cauliflower, and autumn veggies like carrots and squash). The salmon and pork were sooo delicious!!!! The salmon was also served on a bed of quinoa which was nice. The potatoes were ordinary but the squash was so good. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner! Just keep in mind they’re open until 8. We didn’t realize the time and left around 8:30 but the cleaner was so patient and didn’t say a word and just waited for us to finish dinner. I can’t thank the entire establishment enough for such a positive experience so hopefully this review helps! :)
Had the most delicious meal. The mashed potatoes were SO good and homemade. Our group tried all the entrees. Everything was SO good ( we are city people from DC). Kitchen was immaculate. And the waitstaff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. It’s actually perplexing how the rating could be so low. Absolutely recommend this to everyone staying in GC Village.
Breakfast was good. Ordered the French toast with some eggs and bacon. Was a little pricey for what you got but it did hit the spot. The ordering on the touch screen was not clear. We had to go to the back of the line to order correctly.
Great food - very fresh, tasty, and clearly homemade. Staff in both the dining hall and Tavern incredibly friendly
When we travel back through here we're going to eat here again! The waitress was excellent! The food was delicious! The wait time for the meal was rather quick. I recommend this place!
New dinner menu is very good. I had naan with chickpea coconut curry. And I had pasta the other day. Both were good.
This is a cafeteria, but as good as it gets!! I had dinner & breakfast here. Dinner, there were 4 entree meats to choose from (all looked delicious), you get 2 sides (of a 4 lineup), and there’s several dessert options. For breakfast, there’s several scramble options, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, French toast, cut fruit, and yogurt. Such spreads!! They offer takeout. Very gluten free friendly. Noticeably kind & happy staff. Regarding price - it’s the Grand Canyon & they give you so much food to make it worthwhile. I loved it!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with these amazing folks. During our travels, we made it to the Grand Canyon for the holiday. We were thrilled to learn about the feast they prepared. Everything was delicious and the staff was very caring and nice. We can’t tell you how much we appreciated your efforts and care.
